Privacy Policy

Effective September 10, 2026 · CheckDay is in beta

The short version: we collect your email so we can send you the updates you asked for. We never ask for your Social Security number or your ssa.gov password, we never sell your data, and you can unsubscribe or have everything deleted with one email.

What we collect

The calculator on our homepage runs entirely in your browser. The benefit amount you type there is never sent to us.

What we never collect

We will never ask for your Social Security number, your ssa.gov username or password, your bank details, or your medical information. Anyone who asks you for these while claiming to be CheckDay is not us — please report it to hello@checkdayapp.com.

How we use your information

That is the whole list. No advertising lists, no data brokers, no selling — ever.

Where your information lives

Your information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in a non-public folder on our server, hosted with Hostinger. Access is limited to the CheckDay team.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make CheckDay run — our hosting and email delivery provider (Hostinger) — and authorities if the law genuinely requires it. Nobody else.

Cookies and tracking

CheckDay currently sets no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.

Your choices

About Statement upload (beta)

When the Statement-upload feature launches, it will come with its own detailed privacy terms shown before you upload anything. You will always download your Statement file from ssa.gov yourself — CheckDay never connects to your ssa.gov account.

Children

CheckDay is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and significant changes will be announced by email. Questions? Write to hello@checkdayapp.com — a person reads every message.
